Indulge in the delightful combination of rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter with these baked doughnuts. Perfect for a sweet treat any time of day!

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. ½ cup granulated sugar. ¼ cup brown sugar. ½ teaspoon baking soda. ½ teaspoon baking powder. ¼ teaspoon salt. ½ cup buttermilk. ¼ cup vegetable oil. 1 large egg. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. For the glaze:. ½ cup creamy peanut butter. ¼ cup powdered sugar. 2-3 tablespoons milk. ½ teaspoon vanilla extract. Chocolate sprinkles optional, for decoration.

Instructions: Grease a doughnut pan and preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cocoa powder in a mixing bowl. Mix the egg, vegetable oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Mixing until just combined, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Take care not to blend too much. Pour the batter into each of the doughnut pan’s cavities, filling them about two thirds of the way. When a toothpick is inserted into a doughnut, it should come out clean after baking for 10 to 12 minutes in a preheated oven. The doughnuts should be taken out of the oven and allowed to cool in the pan for a few minutes before being transferred to a wire rack to finish cooling. For the glaze, melt the peanut butter in a bowl that is safe to use in the microwave for about 30 seconds, or until stirring is simple. Once you have a smooth glaze, stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. To get the desired consistency, adjust the amount of milk. Reposition the cooled doughnuts on the wire rack to let any extra glaze drip off after dipping them in the peanut butter glaze. While the glaze is still wet, top with chocolate sprinkles, if desired. Before serving, let the glaze set for about 20 minutes. Have fun!
